Practise reading complete Hangul syllables with this Korean word collection. The interface is available in English or Korean, independently of the language of your worksheet words.
Make a Korean worksheetKorean word list
Introduce meaning first
Read each word aloud and explain its meaning with pictures or examples before asking learners to find it. Korean words use two to twelve complete Hangul syllables; consonants and vowels are not split into separate cells.
Three ways to practise
Choose a word search for recognition, vocabulary bingo for listening, or a syllable scramble for rebuilding a familiar spelling. Start with across-and-down search directions and add diagonals only when learners are comfortable.
Print and check
Download an A4 or US Letter PDF with a separate answer or teacher sheet. The Korean font is embedded in the PDF. Check the first copy for readability before printing a class set. See the Korean teaching notes for this collection.
Ready-to-print worksheet and answer key
This fixed sample uses across-and-down directions and A4 paper, with one student page and one answer page. Use the maker for another layout, US Letter paper, bingo or a scramble.

Compare observations with pictures
Use photographs or a nearby view to explain spring words before reading the list. Flowering times differ by place and year; this is not a calendar of when a plant must bloom. Separate flower names such as 개나리 from experiences such as 소풍, and let learners say which category they chose.
Build one observation sentence
After the puzzle, choose one word and complete an observation sentence with it. Learners who are not ready to write can point and speak or work with a partner. Keep plant observation to pictures or safe supervised viewing; no collecting or tasting is needed for this vocabulary activity. Revisit 꽃 in 봄꽃, 벚꽃 and 꽃잎 to notice the same written block in different words.
