Print worksheets that fit your learners

A clean printed page helps learners focus on the words. Start with the smallest list that fits the lesson, preview the result, then choose A4 or US Letter before downloading.

Save or print

Download PDF creates a file you can save and reuse. Print opens your browser dialog. Set the printer paper to match the selected size, use portrait orientation and 100% scale, and disable browser headers and footers. Check the first page before printing a class set.

Keep answers separate

The answer key is on a separate page. Turn off “Include answer / teacher sheet” and create the worksheet again for a student-only copy. For bingo, the teacher sheet is a call list, rather than a completed winning card.

Adjust the challenge

For a simpler word search, choose across-and-down directions, use shorter words and let a pair share the task. For a harder one, add diagonals or backward words. The generator may enlarge the grid to include every word; check the preview for readability.

Make space for different needs

Offer a shorter task, extra time or a partner where helpful. A scramble may be difficult for a learner who is still learning the meaning of a word. Let them use a reference list, and invite a spoken answer if writing is not the goal.
